This policy covers information Express Laundromat collects when you use this website, book laundry with us, or join our loyalty programme. We operate from 3341 Golf Rd, Evanston, IL 60203, and we serve customers in the United States only.

2. What we collect

When you send an inquiry or book a pickup

• Your name
• Your phone number
• The service you are asking about
• The date and time you would like
• Any notes you add — for example load size, fabric instructions or where to collect from

When you arrange pickup and delivery

• The address we are collecting from and returning to

When you join the loyalty programme

• Your name, phone number and email address
• Your address, where you give it
• Your stamp balance and the cycles you have earned

We do not ask for, and have no need of, financial account details, government identification, or any sensitive personal information.

3. Why we collect it

Only to run your order and our relationship with you:

• To collect, wash and return your laundry
• To contact you about a booking — to confirm a time, ask a question, or tell you your order is ready
• To keep track of your loyalty stamps
• To keep our own records of the work we have done

4. We process your information internally

Your information is used by Express Laundromat, for Express Laundromat's own operations. We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or marketing networks.

The only people who see it are the staff who need it to handle your laundry and answer your questions.

5. Service providers

Like most small businesses, we rely on a few standard technology providers to run the site and store our records. They process information on our behalf and under our instructions — they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:

• Website hosting — a provider that stores this site and serves its pages to your browser.
• Secure database and login services — where booking records and loyalty balances are held.
• Content delivery networks — which serve standard code libraries the site uses. As with any web request, these receive your IP address as a technical necessity of delivering a file.

These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes. We can tell you who they are on request.

If you contact us on WhatsApp

Our inquiry button can open WhatsApp with a pre-filled message. WhatsApp is operated by Meta, not by us, and anything you send through it is also handled under Meta's own privacy terms. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, phone us or email us instead — the details are at the bottom of this page.

6. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics, pixels or third-party tracking of any kind. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not follow you around the internet.

Our staff and customer-account pages store a login session in your browser so that you stay signed in. That is a functional necessity of logging in, it stays on your device, and it is not used for tracking.

7. How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as we need them to run the business and keep proper records of work completed. Loyalty records are kept for as long as your card is active. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.

8. Your choices

You can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it
• Stop contacting you about anything other than an order in progress

Just call or email us using the details below. We will not charge you, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

9. Security

Records are held in a password-protected system, access is limited to staff who need it, and the site is served over an encrypted connection. No system is perfect, but we keep what we collect deliberately small — which is the most effective protection there is.

10. Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Where we operate

Express Laundromat serves the United States only — our regular pickup and delivery area is Evanston and the surrounding North Shore communities listed on our service areas page, with extended areas available on request. Information is stored and processed in the United States.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
